First Transit not only understands the responsibilities of transportation under the ADA, we have made ADA part of our culture. We have extensive experience with transporting persons with disabilities. First Transit offers specialized training to its operators and invites local advocacy groups to assist in instructing our employees and continually improving our service.
How can First Transit make our shuttle system “Green”?

If I contract with First Transit, who makes the transportation decisions?
You hire us: we report to you. You set the parameters including the level and hours of service. First Transit handles the day-in, day-out regimen of safe, efficient passenger transportation. We make no major decisions without your approval.
What happens to our current drivers if we outsource to First Transit?
We want to hire your drivers. Based on background checks and testing, qualified drivers are offered employment at competitive compensation levels. Drivers also receive paid safety training. We consider drivers professionals, not commodities, and treat all employees accordingly.
